I've wanted to shave my head for years but I only had the courage to do it this year. I think I felt comfortable enough to go through with it because this year I really invested in my real interests, not only academics.

I think I grew as a person because I was really able to express myself through art; specifically fashion and film.

Below are my first attempts at film-making. Making these videos, especially 'Ambiversion' was very fun and they are the projects that I am most proud of.

Being really really comfortable and confident with myself helped me to be a better listener and a better advocate for other people.

 

Once I was comfortable helping other people and not being ashamed of needing help I was stronger, when I wasn't afraid to cry in front of people just like I wanted them to feel safe enough to cry in front of me, I was stronger, and I was stronger for other people too.
